autopkgtest software package provides automatic as-installed testing for Debian packages, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install autopkgtest
autopkgtest is installed in your system.
Make ensure the autopkgtest package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep autopkgtest *
You will get with autopkgtest package name, version, architecture and description in a table
